in behalf of all the founders and all the other admins, i would like to apologize to all the members for leaving the club unattended.
rest assured that starting today, october 28, 2009, this shall not happen again.

seeing that i am the only active administrator left, i have decided to take matters to my own hands, because i'm sure that no one (me included) wants the club to die.

these are the updates that i have made so far:


THE RULES FOR JOINING THE CLUB HAVE BEEN SYSTEMATIZED!

from now on, if a certain deviant wishes to join the club, he / she must follow the following steps in order to be properly inducted:

1 - send a note to the club with the subject "join".
2 - if you are referred to this club by another deviant, please indicate that deviant's username in the note (be honestm, because this is crucial). the purpose of this will be explained later. if you were not referred to this club by anyone (which means you discovered us on your own), there is no need to put anything else in the note. (just make sure that the subject says "join")
3 - wait for confirmation. if the club has added you to its deviantwatch, it means that you are now acknowledged as an official member.
4 - once you have recieved confirmation, it is highly recommended that you watch the club back.


A NEW MEMBER QUOTA HAS BEEN SET!

our target is: 100 new members by December 25, 2009!
ambitious? flucking crazy? i know. then again, Andy Warhol was too, wasn't he?


THE RECRUITMENT CONTEST HAS BEEN OPENED!

yeah i know, what the fluck.
honestly, it's the only way i know of in order for us to get new members.
so your objective is: to be able to recruit as many members as you can.

how to join?
well, you don't need to.
you see, this is where step 2 in the joining process comes in. once a new member mentions your name as his /her referrer, you'll officially be included as one of the contenders. with the information at hand, i'll keep track of the statistics and keep you posted on who's leading.

the winner will get a month-long journal feature from the club (and possibly from the club's affiliates too, but we're still in talks) and of course, eternal salvation.


THE NEW ID CONTEST HAS BEEN OPENED!

that's right! i figured that it would be nice if there's a new form of interaction within the club.
so your objective is: to be able to create a kickass, goddamn beautiful devID that represents the club, its purposes and Andy Warhol.

HOW TO JOIN THE ID CONTEST:

1 - join the club (see above)
2 - make the ID
3 - submit the ID as one of your deviations
4 - send a note to the club with the subject "ID CONTEST" and a link to your entry.
5 - wait for confirmation. if a link to your artwork has been posted on the respective journal entry, it means that your entry is officially in the contest.

the deadline of entries will be on DECEMBER 25, 2009. (yeah, christmas! so that you won't forget.) christmas is closer than you think, so start thinking and working RIGHT NOW!
the winner will have his/her/its work posted as the club's official devID (duh), and he/she/it will be given due credit for it. he/she/it will also get a month-long journal feature from the club (and possibly from the club's affiliates too, but we're still in talks) and of course, immortality.
